Course Description/Overview This 9-week Academic Decathlon class is designed to help you prepare for competition while building strong academic skills across a range of subjects. Using the 2026–2027 Academic Decathlon study guide, you’ll explore topics in literature, science, math, art, music, economics, and social science, learning how these areas connect through a common theme. The class includes a mix of guided lessons, group discussions, practice quizzes, and collaborative activities that make challenging material more manageable and engaging. You’ll also develop important skills in essay writing, speech delivery, and interviewing, with opportunities to practice and improve in a supportive environment. Whether you’re new to Academic Decathlon or already have experience, this course is designed for a range of ability levels and focuses on helping every student grow, think critically, manage their time effectively, and feel confident going into competition.
