Course Description/Overview
Some of the most famous desktop programs were written in C. Now “There’s an App for that” is all the rage. In the first term of this course, we will focus on the skills and terminology needed to be a good programmer. As we learn those skills, we will be demonstrating them using the C language. Once we have a good foundation and understand the basic principles of programming, we will move into the more advanced language of Swift. The second term of this course will continue our coverage of Swift. With Swift, we will be writing full, stand-alone programs with complete user-interfaces. Along the way, we will also have a lot of practice in learning how to use Xcode to write and compile our programs.
Term 1 is only offered this year
