The seven member elected school board meets at 6:00pm on the third Monday of each month in the district boardroom. The Annual Meeting and Budget Hearing is held on the third Monday in October.
There are five (5) taxing municipalities within the Deerfield Community School District: Village of Deerfield, Town of Deerfield, Town of Cottage Grove, Town of Christiana and Town of Pleasant Springs.
