Deerfield Schools offers a variety of programs and services to support students and families which include, but are not limited to:
- Homeroom/Mentor groups at all levels with planned lessons focused on building relationships and social skills
- Student Centered Trauma teams at all levels with trained staff in Mental Health First Aid
- Code Blue teams at all levels with trained staff in First Aid and CPR to respond to urgent medical needs of students and staff
- Student social groups focused on friendships, anxiety, coping and resiliency skills and social skill building
- REST programs offered through Journey Mental Health Center of Dane County
- Sensory room for quiet space, calming corners with flexible seating, quiet spaces during morning break
- Elementary grade level buddies for friendship support, Buddy Benches on the playground
- Full staff trained in Mental Health First Aid, Bullying and Crisis Intervention including ALICE and ILOVEUGUYS
- Public speakers on diversity, tolerance, bullying, hate crimes and self-help strategies
- Partnership with Deerfield Community Center to promote children's social groups and mental health presentations for community
- Partnership with Deerfield Cares to promote community based programs for drug and alcohol awareness, sex trafficking
