Course Description/Overview
The Introduction to Programming with Python course is a comprehensive nine-week program designed for beginners, covering fundamental programming concepts such as variables, data types, conditionals, loops, and functions. Students will progress to more advanced topics, including object-oriented programming (OOP), data structures, algorithms, file handling, and data persistence using formats like JSON and CSV. The course also introduces essential Python libraries like NumPy and Pandas, and culminates in a capstone project where students build a basic web application using the Flask framework. By the end of the course, participants will be able to write and execute Python scripts, apply core programming principles, develop simple web applications, and establish a solid foundation for further studies in computer science or software development.
