Course Description/Overview
Independent Studies in Programming is a 9-week course for students who want to grow their coding skills and explore topics beyond what is covered in introductory classes. Working closely with the instructor, students will create a personalized plan based on their interests and choose to work in C, Java, Python, or Swift. Projects may include building apps, designing programs, or solving real-world problems through code. The course focuses on hands-on learning and independent work, giving students the chance to practice problem-solving, improve their coding techniques, and think like programmers. Through planning, testing, and refining their work, students will create projects that reflect their interests while building confidence and experience in programming.
