Stephanie Peterson

My husband, Tyler, and I used to live in Deerfield, with our four sons—Jake (28), Brenden (24), Alex (24), and Matthew (22)—who all attended Deerfield Schools! We now live in Janesville with our three youngest, my father-in-law, and our two dogs. I graduated from UW-Whitewater in 2023 with dual licensing in Early Childhood and Special Education. This is my fourth year teaching, though I’ve filled various roles (aide, substitute, summer school) in the district for 16 years. Working with 4K is my absolute passion—their enthusiasm for learning is unmatched! I believe strong relationships and open communication are the foundation of student success.

I am looking forward to a fun-filled year and hope to create an amazing first (for most) school experience for everybody!
