Hello! My name is Madison Matthews, and I am so excited to embark on another school year here at Deerfield Elementary!
I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2018 (Go Panthers!) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Mathematics. After graduation, my husband’s career brought us here to Madison, and we have loved calling the Madison area home ever since. This will be my eighth year teaching third grade at DES!
When I’m not in the classroom, I love spending time with my friends and family, riding my bike, shopping at Target, and crafting. I also share my home with two very spoiled cats, Piper and Lucy!
I can't wait to meet all my new students and their families. Cheers to a fun year ahead!
