Hello, my name is Lauren Haas, and I’m so excited to begin this new school year at Deerfield Elementary School!!
I grew up in Jefferson, WI, where I spent a lot of time with my family, friends, and horses. Horses have been a special part of my life since I was 2 years old, and they have helped created such a special bond between my family and I. Outside of teaching, I love riding and showing horses, as well as running track and cross country. Singing and dancing are also some of my favorite hobbies - I loved being a middle school show choir director throughout college!
I graduated from UW-Whitewater in Spring 2025 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Adaptive Education. After college, I decided to make Deerfield my home, and I have loved getting to know this wonderful community. I have heard so many amazing things about the Deerfield School District, and I felt truly fortunate when a 2nd-grade teaching position became available for the 2025-2026 school year.
I am so excited to build a supportive and engaging classroom community, get to know my students and their families, and make learning a fun and meaningful experience for everyone! Here’s to a fantastic year ahead!
