Clara Losse

Hi, I am Mrs. Clara Losse! I am so excited to start a new school year at Deerfield Elementary School :). 
I was born and raised in Oshkosh, WI. I met my husband, Jesse, in high school and we both graduated from Oshkosh North. I received my Dual Education License and Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh in 2014. I then taught sixth grade for two years in Oshkosh.
My husband and I moved to Madison after we got married in 2016. We have a son, Finnley, who goes to Deerfield Elementary and a daughter, Zoey.

When we moved to Madison, I began substitute teaching in Madison and neighboring school districts, which brought me to Deerfield. Every day I taught at the Deerfield Schools put a smile on my face - I just fell in LOVE with the district. 
I long-term substituted in three different positions at Deerfield Elementary during the 2017-2018 school year. When a position opened for the 2018-2019 school year, I was eager and excited to join the Deerfield family! Since then, I have taught first and second grade on and off! I look forward to teaching second grade this school year :).
