Welcome to KAZ!
My name is Lisa Zickert and I am honored to be teaching Kindergarten in the district. I grew up in Upper Michigan and graduated from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary/Early Childhood Education. My husband, Matt, and I live in the district with our 3 children.
During my years in the district, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of students and families in many different learning opportunities including the Bridges After-School Homework Club, Getting Ready For Kindergarten Summer School, Extended Summer School, Summer Reading Program, and the Deerfield Community Center Summer Daycamp program. I thoroughly enjoy teaching at Deerfield Elementary and building relationships with the students, their families and the community.
