Welcome to Deerfield Middle School and High School!

It is an incredible honor to serve as the principal of Deerfield Middle and High School and begin what is an exciting new chapter with our students, families, staff and community as we open our new school building for the 2026-2027 school year!

I am looking forward to my first year as principal in Deerfield.  For the past three years I served as the a Dean of Students in Evansville’s middle school after having taught at Deerfield High School for 11 years.  Prior to that, my first experience in the educational setting was in Yuma, Arizona, where I taught social studies at Cibola High School for three years.

My family has lived in Deerfield for over 12 years.  My wife’s name is Kelly and we have four children, all of whom attend Deerfield Community Schools.  Ever since moving to Deerfield, we have enjoyed and appreciated the community, the people, and the schools.  It is truly our home.

As we move into the 2026-2027 school year, I am elated to have the opportunity to welcome students to the new building while continuing our traditional practices of commitment to our students and excellent educational practices.  Thank you to the Deerfield community for continuing to support the education of our students as well as the building of the amazing new facility. giving to Deerfield an amazing facility.
