Hello! My name is Johanna Freye, and I am a 4th grade teacher here at Deerfield Elementary! I graduated from Marian University of Fond du Lac in 2023 with a Masters in the Art of Education. Shortly after that I was hired here at Deerfield Elementary as a Paraprofessional. The year after that I accepted the position of Daily Substitute within the Deerfield Community School District and stayed in that position until this year! I am so excited to teach 4th grade in such an amazing community!

 I was born and raised in Madison and attended La Follette High School. When not here at Deerfield Elementary I can be found at home working on my latest craft, reading, or spending time with my family and friends. Currently I live in Cottage Grove with my leopard gecko, Thorin.

I am looking forward to what this school year brings!
