My name is Mrs. Leigh (pronounced Lee) and I am a 1st grade teacher at Deerfield Elementary School. The 2024-2025 school year marks my 27th year teaching in Deerfield. Time surely flies when you're having fun. I graduated from Edgewood College in Madison, WI with degrees in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. I am pleased to have the opportunity to teach here in Deerfield, where I also reside with my husband, Jasen. We have 3 adult children: McCoy, Jaimeson, and Kadence. Deerfield, WI is also where I attended middle school and high school, so Deerfield is very dear to me! I appreciate each day I spend here with wonderful, hardworking, caring children, and families. During this school year and every year my hope is that all children feel loved, motivated, challenged, and successful during his/her experiences in my classroom. I appreciate open communication and encourage parents to be involved in their child's education. Thank you for the opportunity to teach your precious child!
