Library Media Specialist Email Phone: 608.764.5442 I have been a school librarian for over 35 years and consider myself fortunate that I found a job that I am passionate about. I graduated, from UW-Eau Claire, with a K -8 teaching degree, and a minor in Library Science. My first position was in New London, Wisconsin as an elementary librarian. I fell in love working with students, information and books! I went back and earned my Masters of Library and Information Science from UW-Milwaukee.
My goal is to help students connect to the right book, the right information and to foster a lifelong love of reading! Anyone who says “I don’t like to read!” just hasn’t met the right book. It is a great day when students come in looking for information to answer their curiosities or just wanting to talk about books.
My personal interests are cooking, sewing, crafts and DIY!
