Chinese Administrator Exchange Trip
Day One-Thursday, April 5
My trip started this morning (April 4) with a flight from Madison to Chicago where we met up with principals and superintendents from four other states and the two guides from the Chinese Administrator Exchange program. We left Chicago at noon and after a 13 1/2 hour flight from Chicago to Beijing, we finally arrived in China at 2:30pm on Thursday. (China is 13 hours ahead of Wisconsin so we traveled into the next calendar day.) We had a two hour layover in Beijing before boarding another plane to Xian, the first city we wil be touring. We arrived in Xian at 10:30pm. Tomorrow we will tour the city.
