The Family and Consumer Education hallway offers a glimpse of the multiple ages of our HS building. The sand colored brick walls on each side of the hall mark an entrance to the original high school built in 1966. Turning south, you will see additional artifacts from 1966 including cinder block walls, terrazzo floor and brick pillars. To the north you will see the transition to the 1978 addition which includes carpeted flooring, demountable partition walls and varying sets of lockers. The proposed plan would build a two-story addition on the north side of the building with classrooms to support hands-on learning and would renovate and modernize existing parts of the building with new flooring, walls, lockers and energy efficient lighting.
