We are very proud of the strong music programs in our schools! Our middle school choir has 62 singers which is 54% of the MS student body. The high school choir has 91 singers which is 42% of the HS student body. This is phenomenal participation! The choir room was added in 1978 with a tiered music pit and is very small for the number of students in our program. This floor plan also makes it inaccessible for some students and/or staff with disabilities. The room lacks adequate storage for show choir uniforms, practice rooms and general music storage. The proposed plan calls for a dedicated music space with a larger choir room with better acoustics and more room for uniform storage along with a flat floor design accessible for all.
