If so, you might consider applying to ExtremeTerrain’s Student Scholarships! Each application cycle, the scholarship awards $2,500 to two lucky applicants. In order to apply, students must submit a 700 – 1,500 essay on the importance of “maintaining access to public lands for recreational use” and how they plan on using their degree to advocate for the recreational use of public lands. The scholarship is biannual, with deadlines on June 15th (to be considered for the Fall semester) and October 15th (to be considered for the Spring semester). One Community Bank is excited to launch the 2024 One Community Bank Scholarship Program. This program offers $1,000 scholarships to three graduating high school seniors. This annual initiative aligns with One Community Bank’s commitment to invest in its communities. The eligibility requirements to apply for the scholarships are as follows: the applicant must be a graduating high school senior, must be in good academic standing, and have post-graduation plans at a 2-year or 4-year institution; a technical or trade school; or an apprenticeship program. As a part of the application, candidates are required to write and submit an essay.
   
Community involvement is important to OCB and is a key component of the application and eligibility process. Applicants are asked to write an essay that demonstrates their role in making a positive impact in the community; and how the applicant’s post-graduation plans will continue to support the community.

The Dream Pool Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization, is pleased to announce our 2024 Art Scholarship.  Celebrating their nineteenth year of operation they continue their mission to support aspiring artists through scholarship opportunities.  Due to continued success the family is pleased to announce that they will be awarding one $5,000.00 scholarship, two $2,000 scholarship, and three $1,000 scholarships this year to provide assistance to individuals pursuing education in the visual arts.

Interested candidates must possess extracurricular accomplishments and inspirational goals.  Academically capable students must be enrolled as an Art Major at an accredited institution of higher education located in the United States.  (This includes Art Therapy Programs).  All applicants must be U.S. citizens.  Recipient will be required to provide evidence of college acceptance before money awarded.

Requirements:

WP Beverages is proud to recognize the outstanding achievements of high school seniors and college undergraduates through the Pepsi Community Scholarship Fund.  The purpose of the Pepsi Community Scholarship is to reward individuals who are passionate about creating a better future by recognizing student leadership and citizenship, as well as school and community involvement.

Ten $1,000 scholarships will be chosen annually.

Eligibility:

  1. Available to graduating high school seniors.
  2. Applicant must be a legal resident of the US, residing in the WP Beverages service area.  Wisconsin Counties: Adams, Ashland, Brown, Columbia, Dane, Dodge, Door, Florence, Iowa, Jefferson, Juneau, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Marinette, Oconto, Outagamie, Price, Rusk, Sauk, Sawyer, Shawano and Taylor.
  3. Employees of WP Beverages, LLC, Wis-Pak, Inc., its Shareholders and distributors, PepsiCo, Inc., Pepsi-Cola Company and its bottlers, Pepsi Beverages Company, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, distributors, web design, advertising, fulfillment, judging, and promotion agencies involved in the administration, development, fulfillment and execution of this Scholarship and the immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
  4. Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year in the United States.
  5. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent).

Ab Nicholas Scholarship Foundation Scholarship Athletic 4/30/2024 $5,000 - $10,000 per year
Requirements:

Seniors currently in the DHS boys or girls basketball program and are planning on attending one of the UW system schools and qualify can apply for this scholarship.

To qualify students must:

  • Be a resident of Wisconsin
  • Attend a WI public or private high school
  • Participate in their school's basketball program their senior year
  • Plan to attend a University of Wisconsin System school
  • Not participating in sports at the DI, DII or DIII level in college

This year the Ab Nicholas Scholarship Foundation will offer scholarships to approximately 100 Wisconsin public and private high school graduates based on need, academic achievement and character.  The annual scholarship--$10,000 for four-year programs and $5,000 for two-year programs - are renewable for the length of the program.

Johnson Controls Scholarship

  • The Johnson Controls Scholarship is a cohort-based scholarship model that provides students with tuition assistance, funds for on-campus housing and stipends for professional development. The amount of the award scales up each year, with senior students ultimately receiving $7,500 in scholarships and $1,000 for professional development.  To be considered for the scholarship, you must fill out the scholarship general application.
  • The recipients of the scholarships shall be selected by a Scholarship Committee approved by the University in consultation with the Office of Financial Aid and the Vice President of Student Affairs and Campus Inclusion.
  • Scholarships are renewable provided the student continues to meet the criteria, and the Committee members authorize the renewal. 

The scholarship shall be awarded to individuals who:

  • Are enrolled at MSOE and pursuing a baccalaureate degree in engineering
  • Have a minimum high school GPA of 2.75 or a minimum MSOE GPA of 2.75

Requirements:

Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) has a mission and
commitment to recruit, retain, and graduate underrepresented
students. A diverse student body enhances the educational
experience at MSOE. Up to six students will receive the $5,000
Diversity Excellence Endowed Scholarship. Applicants may be
considered for renewal for up to four years.

Criteria
1. Be a qualified, full-time student with academic status as a freshman
in the fall of the upcoming Academic Year.

2. Complete the FAFSA.
3. Be a United States citizen or permanent resident.
4. Must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 grading
scale.

5. Preference will be given to students from underrepresented
racial/ethnic minorities.

6. Preference will be given to students with financial need as defined
by federal regulations.

Requirements:

The MSOE Financial Aid Office is currently considering general
applications to be applied toward the K. Dunn Annual Scholarship.
One student will receive up to an additional $2,000 scholarship for
the upcoming academic year. This award may be renewable if the
student applies for consideration in subsequent years.

Criteria
1. Be a qualified, full-time student with a class rank of freshman, in good
academic standing at MSOE for the upcoming academic year.

2. Be seeking a professional, baccalaureate degree in nursing, biomedical

Higher Education Nursing Student Loan Health Care 6/1/2024 $1,000 - $3,000 per year

Wisconsin colleges & universities offering nursing degrees.

The Nursing Student Loan Program provides loans to Wisconsin resident undergraduates or graduate students who are enrolled at least half-time at an eligible in-state institution that prepares them to be licensed as nurses, either RN or LPN. The maximum award per year is $3,000 with an overall maximum of $15,000.  Students who participate in this program must agree to be employed as a licensed nurse in Wisconsin. For each of the first two years the student works as a nurse or nurse educator and meets the eligibility criteria, 25% of the loan is forgiven. The balance remaining after forgiveness must be repaid at an interest rate of 5%. If the student does not work as a nurse or nurse educator and meet the eligibility criteria, the loan must be repaid at an interest rate of 5%.

Requirements:

Sterling Law Offices, S.C. is offering students the opportunity to win a $1,000 paid scholarship towards their academic goals. We believe in education and want to help curb the cost of education for students. Our hope is that this scholarship will help students continue to pursue their dream and achieve all of their goals.

The scholarship is open to high school seniors preparing for their first year of college as well as college students already enrolled full-time.

Payment of Scholarships

 

The Sterling Law Offices, S.C. scholarship is paid to the school of the selected recipient. It will be paid in a one-time, non-renewable amount of $1,000 U.S. Dollars. Only one entry is permitted per student.

All scholarships given by Sterling Law Offices, S.C. are awarded annually in July. The scholarship payout will occur in August of the same year in one installment of $1,000 U.S. Dollars.
