Eligibility:  Pursuing or planning to pursue a degree in nursing

All high school seniors, undergraduate, and graduate students are eligible to apply

The American Legion offers several different scholarships to students who have parents/grandparents who are or were members of the American Legion.

Scholarship Opportunities:

• Samsung Scholarship - Badger Boys and Girls State participants may be eligible.
• Legacy Scholarship-Ensuring higher education is possible for children of post-9/11 veterans.
• Baseball Scholarship - American Legion Baseball players are eligible to apply.
• Oratorical Contest

The Epilepsy Foundation of Wisconsin is offering $1,000 scholarships to three individuals, one from each of the following categories:

• One Traditional Student with Epilepsy
• One Caregiver of Someone with Epilepsy
• One Non-Traditional Student with Epilepsy

Definitions for each of these categories, application instructions, as well as other information, are available on the application website:  www.epilepsywisconsin.org/scholarships

Notes:

• Applicants must be legal residents of Wisconsin
• Applicants must have an epilepsy diagnosis or be caring for someone with an epilepsy diagnosis
• The application deadline is Monday, June 3, 2024
• Applicants will be notified of their standing no later than Wed., July 31, 2024.
• Applicants can be attending any type of higher education institution, including 4-year colleges/universities, community colleges, technical colleges, or any type of trade school.

BigSun Scholarship...2024

The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. In order to do our part we are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in.

How to Apply
Please send us a short essay (500 - 1,000 words) answering the following questions:

• How did your participation in sports during your high school years influence you?
• Has your participation influenced your career goals?
• Has your participation influenced how you relate to your family?

Deadline

June 19, 2024.

Who is eligible?

All student athletes are eligible regardless of the sport they are engaged in or the capacity in which they participate. The student must be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute. 

Please remember to include your name and the name of the school that you are attending.

Sterling Law Offices, S.C. is offering students the opportunity to win a $1,000 paid scholarship towards their academic goals. We believe in education and want to help curb the cost of education for students. Our hope is that this scholarship will help students continue to pursue their dream and achieve all of their goals.

The scholarship is open to high school seniors preparing for their first year of college as well as college students already enrolled full-time.

Students interested in applying are asked to apply online via the online application.

Payment of Scholarships

The Sterling Law Offices, S.C. scholarship is paid to the school of the selected recipient. It will be paid in a one-time, non-renewable amount of $1,000 U.S. Dollars. Only one entry is permitted per student.

All scholarships given by Sterling Law Offices, S.C. are awarded annually in July. The scholarship payout will occur in August of the same year in one installment of $1,000 U.S. Dollars. 

Eligibility Guidelines and Overview

• Must be a resident of the United States.
• Must be enrolled full-time at an accredited four or two-year college or trade school.
• Students must hold a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Scholarship awards and eligibility requirements are subject to change.
