Are you a high school senior or college student pursuing a degree in biology, environmental studies, land use, earth and atmospheric studies, parks and recreation, or a related subject? If so, you might consider applying to ExtremeTerrain’s Student Scholarships! Each application cycle, the scholarship awards $2,500 to two lucky applicants. In order to apply, students must submit a 700 – 1,500 essay on the importance of “maintaining access to public lands for recreational use” and how they plan on using their degree to advocate for the recreational use of public lands. The scholarship is biannual, with deadlines on June 15th (to be considered for the Fall semester) and October 15th (to be considered for the Spring semester). Higher Education Nursing Student Loan Health Care 6/1/2024 $1,000 - $3,000 per year

Wisconsin colleges & universities offering nursing degrees.

The Nursing Student Loan Program provides loans to Wisconsin resident undergraduates or graduate students who are enrolled at least half-time at an eligible in-state institution that prepares them to be licensed as nurses, either RN or LPN. The maximum award per year is $3,000 with an overall maximum of $15,000.  Students who participate in this program must agree to be employed as a licensed nurse in Wisconsin. For each of the first two years the student works as a nurse or nurse educator and meets the eligibility criteria, 25% of the loan is forgiven. The balance remaining after forgiveness must be repaid at an interest rate of 5%. If the student does not work as a nurse or nurse educator and meet the eligibility criteria, the loan must be repaid at an interest rate of 5%.

Epilepsy Foundation of WI College Scholarship - NEW General 6/3/2024 3 $1,000 Scholarships
Requirements:

The Epilepsy Foundation of Wisconsin is offering $1,000 scholarships to three individuals, one from each of the following categories:

  • One Traditional Student with Epilepsy
  • One Caregiver of Someone with Epilepsy
  • One Non-Traditional Student with Epilepsy

The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. In order to do our part we are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in.

2023-2024 Sterling Law Offices College Scholarship General 6/30/2024 $1,000
Requirements:

Sterling Law Offices, S.C. is offering students the opportunity to win a $1,000 paid scholarship towards their academic goals. We believe in education and want to help curb the cost of education for students. Our hope is that this scholarship will help students continue to pursue their dream and achieve all of their goals.

The scholarship is open to high school seniors preparing for their first year of college as well as college students already enrolled full-time.

Students interested in applying are asked to apply online via the online application.

 

Payment of Scholarships

 

The Sterling Law Offices, S.C. scholarship is paid to the school of the selected recipient. It will be paid in a one-time, non-renewable amount of $1,000 U.S. Dollars. Only one entry is permitted per student.

All scholarships given by Sterling Law Offices, S.C. are awarded annually in July. The scholarship payout will occur in August of the same year in one installment of $1,000 U.S. Dollars. 

Eligibility Guidelines and Overview

  • Must be a resident of the United States.
  • Must be enrolled full-time at an accredited four or two-year college or trade school.
  • Students must hold a minimum GPA of 3.0.
