Laps for Leukemia Raises Over $2,000!

 
On Friday, April 29th, over 150 students, staff, and community members came and participated in the Active Schools Grant~ Laps for Leukemia Event.  Participants were encouraged to pledge toward the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and walk 60 minutes around the track.  Participants received LLS Glow in the Dark Bracelets, every 10th person through the gate received Madison Mallard Baseball tickets and Victoria Buth was the Grand Prize Collection Winner and has received 4 Milwaukee Brewer Tickets directly behind the 3rd base! 
The National Honor Society helped with the event by selling concession items and their proceeds was a kick-off for their Cancer Awareness Week.  Thanks to all who came and enjoyed the wonderful weather, contributed to this fantastic cause, and also got 60 minutes of exercise in before the weekend started.
