Grading Requirements & Participation Expectations
Daily Participation (60-70% of overall grade)
Proper dress, participation in activities, attitude, effort, and behavior will determine a student’s participation grade.

An assessment will be administered at the end of each unit and may include one of the following: written test/quiz, skill evaluation, project, journal entry, or out of class assignment.
Make Up Assignments
When a student misses participating in class FOR ANY REASON, they will be required to make up the work/activity they missed. It is the student’s responsibility to discuss make up options with the teacher upon return from absence. All make up work is due one week from the date of return from being absent.
Proper Dress for Class
Outdoor Adventure students must be prepared for indoor and outdoor activities. PE clothes (t-shirt & shorts) and tennis shoes must be available each day for indoor activities or in the event of bad weather. Students must be properly equipped for outdoor activities based on current weather conditions. We will have outside activities all four seasons, dress appropriately.
