PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Fitness. Activity. Enjoyment.
Physical education is a time for students to explore many different activities and feel good about movement. Our goal is to help children find a variety of ways to enjoy being physically active and enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle. In class we are always working on: sportsmanship, teamwork, manners, respect, social development and problem solving skills that are needed for lifelong success, as well as a variety of physical skills.

“Live a balanced life—learn some and think some, and draw and paint,
and sing and dance, and play and work every day some.”
~Robert Fulghum
We believe that arts education is an essential part of the total education curriculum, and that it contributes to the physical, mental, social, and emotional development of all children. Our goal is to provide students with a unique learning environment in their art, music, and physical education classes. Through actively engaging in class activities, students are able to discover, experiment, create, problem solve, and learn about the arts. Participation in school arts programs helps students learn about themselves, helps to develop personal skills, and helps to foster a lifelong appreciation of the arts.
