2, 4, 6, 8... First Graders are really great!
My name is Elizabeth Tebon-Moerke and I am in my seventeenth year of teaching here at Deerfield Elementary School. I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater, where I earned my bachelor's degree and master's degree, as well. I truly believe that first grade is really the best grade to teach! Students are eager to learn and so motivated. I'm very excited to help our students build a caring community where everyone feels that our classroom is a safe environment for risk taking and an amazing place for learning to take place. I'm looking forward to your participation in our learning experiences this year. I encourage your questions and comments. Welcome to First Grade!
