Pre-Algebra will focus on working with all kinds of numbers and developing a comfort in performing any operation on any type of number in order to be ready for Algebra 1.

Freshmen looking to brush up on basic number skills and Algebra 1 readiness.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:
1.Use patterns, perform operations, and understand the correct order to do things using all types of numbers (including fractions).
2.Use GCF’s and LCM’s to work with fractions.
3.Convert fractions, decimals and percents to one another.
4.Perform arithmetical operations on real numbers and understand the language of Algebra.
5.Simplify linear expressions and solve linear equations.
